UPDATE: There were so many mistakes with this video, that I tried Titania once more on VC. I got a 390 right on the nose...

UPDATE: I have a full video of a 389 uploaded now (on VC though).
Oh my god.
That basically sums up my feeling of this score. Checkpoint was insane at 187 hits! I tried a new tactic on the two mine laying enemies near the end of the first half, and CUSed them both, netting 2 extra points. Also, I had 122 at the turrets (this is on the N64 by the way).
The only thing I regret is not recording the score. I got the endscreen for proof though.
I'll say this though... 195 checkpoints are now humanly possible, and 390... possibly... 400 is humanly possible here if everything goes absolutely perfect.

ANOTHER AREA 6 VIDEO?!
Well, this one does something different,
so I guess it's ok.
Not as optimized as Corneria (although that video is now outdated due to the bomb trick), I tried Area 6 with the same rules and restrictions:
-No Lock on shots used for bonuses
-No CUSing used for bonuses
I shot about 2 charges by accident, but they didn't kill anything, so this video still follows the rules.
It was alot harder than I thought, and I made plenty of obvious mistakes, but 511 was the goal, and I broke it with no charges!
Watch and enjoy!

So yeah, here's a few bits of video I've been meaning to upload of Titania but haven't gotten around to it until now.
The video will be kind of in the same format as my recent Meteo one. Here are the 3 parts:
-376 endscreen proof (VC)
-Music glitch at the boss (N64)
-121 hits by the laser turrets (VC)
The 121 part of the video pretty much demonstrates why VC is more likely to yield a better score than an N64 could on this level.
Enjoy

Whoa, I was on a roll today! I put every improvement I've gotten in the past few weeks to the test, and got good results!
CO-341 (such an annoying place to highscore).
SY-409 (usually my worst score, now its good)
AQ-370 (VERY great improvement for me)
ZO-480 (broke 480 at least)
MA-274 (ok)
A6-651 (good)
VE-247 (got 5 eye hits!)

![Lylatwars - Fortuna (145 hits) [2nd half]](http://img.youtube.com/vi/E-7-BXydX0g/2.jpg)
Hm... what's this? I've imported Lylatwars with a Passport III module. I wanted to see how I fare with a slower running game (meaning more reaction time).
However, the goddamn Passport stretches the screen vertically, and plays the music really fast, with almost no change in speed as far as Starfox 64 felt. Also, there's a nasty bug that freezes the game during the ending. Oh, and behold my inability to view my scores anywhere in the game except on the ranking screen.
I felt disappointed, but I gave this version of the game a shot, and it sure is more challenging than it should be just to highscore here. Especially in All Range Mode, since I can't see half the goddamn map (when I exported the video, it showed a little bit more screen than on my TV).
But... I get to Fortuna, not expecting anything special... and I get a 60 POINT CHECKPOINT!
Here's a pic with my N64 and the paused checkpoint score (hard to see because of the brightness of Fortuna, sorry)

Because the other one is outdated, I decided to make another..this one breaking Steven Brown's record by 14 hits.
I had a very good run, however, I did make some mistakes.
I don't know. I doubt I will try this again.

The video has 3 distinct sections.
-The full 510 run
-A different run showcasing 57 hits after the meteors (ingx24's request).
-Something stupid that happened in the same run as the 57 start.
Goddamn 511... I'll get that bastard score... one day.
The day I got this score, I got 4 509's and a 508. It's like I'm so close, but I just do something stupid somewhere leaving me a little short.
This video also shows that killing Slippy is good for points here. Not my strat, I think Trevor mentioned it to me first.

I recently got a hold of an N64 to Wii controller adapter, and it's pretty good for SF64, and even Brawl works fine with it.
Anyone not familiar with SSBB Masterpieces, they're basically VC advertisements within Brawl. They let you play the game, but with a fixed time limit of game time; Star Fox 64 is always set at exactly 3 minutes.
I thought this would make for a fun speedrun challenge, and give me a way to road test this controller a bit more. I also decided that I should at least medal Corneria, for entertainment sake.
It's surprising to say, but this was pretty tough to do. Most of the time I'd end up at the boss with insufficient time, or I'd fail to kill the boss in the first swoop (blame the unusual lag in this masterpiece version).
Regardless, I completed the first level so close, that the boss didn't even get to explode.
Enjoy, folksssss.
