Dark Skies (1996-1997) was a sci-fi conspiracy show from the mid-90s, that sadly only lasted one season. It was unfairly dismissed at the time as an X-Files rip-off, but the show was much more than that. If anything it often surpassed that show in quality (in my opinion!). This clip is one of my favourite moments from the series: Juliet reminisces about what turns out to be quiet a traumatic event from her childhood, and we learn what drove her later in life to fight the Hive. It also perfectly matches the period music to the footage, nicely leading up to the sinister encounter at the end. Dark Skies is pretty much forgotten today. The high use of 60s tunes in the show makes it an expensive red tape nightmare in licencing rights, so don't expect a DVD release anytime soon. If a DVD set ever does come out, I should think the track in this sequence would get substituted, so enjoy it as originally intended. Come on Sony/Universal, release Dark Skies!

when i was younger, certain things frightened me a little.. mainly "the x-files" .. since im a heck of a lot older now, i realized how muched ive developed from losing my fear.. not only the tv shows, but in reality. How i react to certain things and people..... and that the only thing to fear, is the father who created you!!Why?? because everything you are, everything you do, everything you want.... he is the key and can take aaaallll of that shit from you!
