Knox Achieves

Knox Achieves
KnoxAchieves provides an opportunity for 500 Knox County public high graduates from the Class of 2009 to receive up to $2,000 annual for community college tuition at either Pellissippi, Roane, or Walters State Community College. The program has three unique components: * Volunteers from the community are donating funds to provide a college education for students who would otherwise lack the opportunity. * Volunteers serve as mentors to our graduating high school students to eliminate barriers to post-secondary education. * Our participants then volunteer their time and energy to give back to our community with at least one community service project per semester.
