Was up late and decided to try out the built in iSight camera on my macbook to record some beat making footage.
Unfortunately the camera angle is pure shit and the lighting isnt much better but the beat turned out pretty dope so i said fuck it and uploaded it anyways!
I plan to have better quality footage along with better lighting and even a hotter beat next time.
Thanks for watching...

Unfortunately Ive found yet another problem with the new OS upgrade. :(
Akai seems to be really droppin the ball on this one. You would think it would have gone through extensive testing before being released, but maybe not so? Quite unfortunate.
Anyways, heres the second bug I've discovered now.
It should be noted that the sample being chopped was only 4 bars long at 126bpm and as you can see in the clip is very simple in respect to a more complex wave form with several transients.
1. The operation lasted for at least a minute which is preposterous.
2. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the MPC actually aborted the sample!
3. I can slice faster and more efficiently in EQUALLY mode making this new feature obsolete unless implemented correctly. :(

Quality is poor since the only thing I had charged was my phone but I was still able to capture the bug happening in real time before rebooting the MPC.
This is the 1st bug Ive discovered after working with the new OS for one days length of time as of Aug/08/2008.
What happens is while in ChopShop in EQUALLY mode, the slices get scrambled somehow and there is an obvious error while toggling through each one as shown in the clip.
I will be sending this information to Akai this evening to report the bug.
On a brighter note:
The Recordable Track Mute feature works great and Ive had no problems with it yet so far.

This was a project for an Audio for Video class that I took last semester....I had to recreate ALL audio assets for the scene (ie. the music/score, sound design, foley, etc...I mixed it in a rush, but all in all it turned out pretty good. You be the judge tho.
