The Grey Wolf, also known as the Timber Wolf, is the largest wild member of the Canidae family. It shares a common ancestry with the domestic dog.
Though once abundant over much of Eurasia and North America, the Grey Wolf inhabits a very small portion of its former range because of widespread destruction of its habitat.
They are capable of covering several miles trotting at about a pace of 10 km/h (6 mph), and have been known to reach speeds approaching 65 km/h (40 mph) during a chase.
There is a slight webbing between each toe, which allows them to move easily over snowy terrain.
Occasionally, single Wolves are found in the wild, though packs containing 2 to 20 Wolves are more common. Established Wolf packs rarely accept strangers into their territories, and will often attack other Wolves that invade their domain. They howl as a form of cumminication to neighbouring packs so that they will avoid their territory. Distributed by Tubemogul.

The Leopard is the smallest of the four roaring cats; the other three being, the Tiger, Lion and Jaguar.
It was believed that a Leopard was a hybrid of a lion and a panther. It's name comes from the Greek, "Lon", meaning, "Lion" and "Prdos", meaning, "Male Panther".
It is found primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, although populations are scattered throughout Asia & India as well.
Because of it's continual decline in population, the Leopard is considered a "Near Threatened" species.
The Leopard is very agile, and can run over 60 kilometres an hour, leap over 6 metres and jump up to 3 metres vertically.
Leopards are capable of carrying their prey, weighing up to 3 times their own weight, up a tree. Distributed by Tubemogul.

The hippopotamus is a large, mostly plant-eating African mammal. (The largest populations are in Zambia (40,000) and Tanzania (20,000-30,000).
The word, "Hippopotamus" is from the Greek, "hippo", meaning, "horse" and "potamus" meanining, "river".
Despite their physical resemblance to pigs, their closest living relatives are cetaceans (whales, porpoise, etc.).
Hippos have been clocked at 30 mph (48 km/h) while running short distances, faster than an Olympic sprinter. The hippopotamus is one of the most aggressive animals in the world, and is often regarded as the most dangerous animal in Africa. It is claimed that they kill more people than any other animal except mosquitos.
Hippos spend most of their days wallowing in the water or the mud, with the other members of their pod. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Pot-Belly Pig, Miniature Horses & Cows & White Holland Turkey at Zooz Niagara Falls.
The pot-bellied pig is a breed of domesticated pig originating in Vietnam.
Miniature horses are found all over the world and come in various colors and coat patterns. They can be trained as service animals, akin to guide dogs, for people with disabilities.
Miniature Cows are the descendants of Zebu Cattle, a distinct breed of small cows from southern India. Whereas a normal-sized cow stands 5 to 6 feet tall at the shoulder and averages 1,500 pounds, a miniature cow stands only 33 to 40 inches high and weighs only 300 to 500 pounds.
It is believed the White Holland Turkey was developed in Holland, though this is not certain. Wild Turkeys imported to Europe from the Americas were bred in many countries, though Holland and Austria tended to favor white varieties.

Checking out the Two-Humped Bactrian Camel at Niagara's Zooz. The Dromedary, or Arabian camel, has a single hump. The Bactrian camel has two humps. The Bactrian camel is now reduced to an estimated 1.4 million animals, mostly domesticated. It is thought that there are about 1000 wild Bactrian camels in the Gobi Desert in China and Mongolia. The average life expectancy of a camel is forty to fifty years. Camels do not store water in their humps as is commonly believed; the humps are actually a reservoir of fatty tissue.
