Here I am using a Bobcat and an auger to drill the last part of our two test rows of trellis. We currently have 5 types of vines (with a total of 32 vines) growing this year and will be adding 4 more varities but more than doubling the number of vines nex year. THe original trellis was simple and enough for the 16 original 1st year plants but the goal is to do it like we would on the gravel pit sidewalls. Heavy end posts and anchor posts.

We use two grain carts (gravity bed types) and a Chevy 3500HD with a roll-on roll-off bed to haul grain to our grain bin. Here we are unloading 200 bushels of corn through a new rear gate built by a good friend of mine ( Randy, L&L Ornamental Iron http://www.llrailings.com/ ). As you can see, it works great! THe nice thing about this truck is that I can drop off the dump bed and put a different dump bed for hauling manure or a flate bed for hauling wood or rocks or bales of hay on. Maybe even a rack of beehives eventually!

We used to split part of our farming and a neighbor split the harvest withy us and would bring his F3 over. Last year he told us he was getting out. So, we decided to do it all ourselves. We picked up this AC Gleaner F2 last winter and have been tinkering around, replacing almost all the electrical, paddles, repainting, rebuilding the AC, and so on. This is the maiden voyage... ...everything seems to work OK.
