[AN: this chapter was so unbelievably ridiculous...haha i had to rewrite the entire thing pracitcally,...so hopefully you like it] Chapter 25- Everyone kept staring at me and it was getting annoying. I couldn't tell if they were staring because I was having a wardrobe malfunction that I didn't know about or because my cancer was really that obvious, but whatever the reason, I seemed to always have at least one person look at me in each of my classes. I was in, I think, fifth period when someone finally said something to me. "Hey, your name is like Madison or something right?" And how did Heather, the most popular girl in my grade, exactly know my name when no one else noticed me? And how come she was talking to me, when she never even looked in my direction any other day? I had a feeling she wanted something from the huge, fake smile that spread across her caked-on makeup filled face. "Um...yah..." She held out her hand for me to shake, which I took cautiously. Then she smiled at me again and I had a feeling I was going to regret talking to her "If you don't know who I am, I'm Heather. Are you new or something, cuz I've never seen you around?" I laughed and then I immediately stopped when I read the creeped-out look on Heather's face. "No, I'm not new. I've actually been in the same school with you since first grade, but you wouldn't know that since you're too busy trying to flaunt your goodies to get guys to realize how easy you are." I saw Heather's smile drop into a scowl and I laughed to myself because never in my life had I imagined me saying something like that to anyone. When Heather realized she was probably coming off as a snob, she put a smile back on her face, which was even more fake than before, and started talking again. "Well, aren't we the little jokester. Anyways, I was just wondering. Do you by any chance know a certain famous person very well?" Ok, I knew where this was going now, and I didn't like it at all. "I have no clue what you're talking about Heather." I gave her a dirty look and then returned to the worksheet we were supposed to be working on. "Oh come on Madison, we both know that you and Nick Jonas are tight." I put my pen down and then turned back around to face her. "And how would you know if Nick and I are 'tight?'" "Well, first of all, you just called him Nick and second, everyone has been talking about how they've seen you with him." "And what if I was just coincidentally in the same place at the same time as him? No one has any proof that I'm close to him." Wow, ok, Lying was never my strong point. "You're blushing. Now, tell me, can you maybe like introduce me?" I rolled my eyes and then turned back to my worksheet. "No seriously can you?" I turned back around to her again. "Um...uh..." The bell rang signaling the end of class. I sighed in relief: saved by the bell. I packed up my things and started to walk out of the room until I felt myself being tugged back. "If you don't mind, I don't want to be late to my next class. But I really would like to know, can you introduce me?" Were all girls this annoying? I tried to think of the best answer possible to avoid giving her a truthful one, but the only one I could think of was a complete lie. "Um, no I can't introduce you, because...because...Nick Jonas already has a girlfriend." So, that was a little far-stretched, but I really needed to get rid of Heather. I quickly looked at the clock to see how much time I had left to get to math and then ran out the door since I was already going to be late. [Song: Just Friends Artist: Jonas Brothers]
