The Mens Basketball Competition has reached the semifinal stages as Team USA will face Team Argentina in semifinal #2 on Friday with the United States an 18 point favorite. Argentina survived a last second three point shot attempt at the buzzer to hold off Greece by 2 in the Round of 8. Manu Ginobili commented after the game how he felt exhausted following the game. I hadn't heard Ginobili utter those words since his San Antonio Spurs were in the midst of a tailspin in March of this year. Ginobili went 32 minutes against Greece, Luis Scola 37 and Prioni 35 in their game against Greece and don't be surprised if these three play closer to 40 against the US. The United States defense has been great all tournament and even though Ginobili is on the court he didn't sound too confident about their chances against the US after their game against Greece. Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and company will be a difficult defensive matchup for the thin depth of Argentina. Argentina gets worn out chasing Team USA. Take Team USA --18.
