The World Wide Web is in the process of being replaced by a privately owned, legally cencored, subscription-based web called "Internet2". This new internet, which uses fiber optics to transfer data is being sold as "faster", "kid friendly" (code for censorship), and is said to do us the favor of filtering out all of those "unwanted" or "unhelpful" websites and search results. The Internet we now have has made this info-revolution possible, but it will soon be gone. Enjoy this beautiful accident while we can, let's not take it for granted. Let's learn and teach all we can while we still can.
