Recap: Kevin is driving Nick and Melanie on their date. Melanie noticed Kevin was a little sad. She didn't want to say anything. Nick's POV After I found out what happened to Kevin, I didn't think him driving us would be a good id-whoa. I look at the door and see Melanie. She looked beautiful. They start coming back. I quickly fix my hai- what am I doing? I've never done this on a date before! Kevin gets in the driver's seat, and Melanie gets into the back with me. We smile at each other. Kevin looks in the rear-view mirror, and says, "Ugh." "Yeah, he's in the date mood." Melanie whispers to me. I try not to laugh. Kevin starts the car, and begins heading to the beach. We talk a little bit on the way. We get there soon, and Kevin drops us off. We walk until we find a good spot to stay. I lay out two towels. We put our stuff down, and sit. The ocean breeze blows a little, blowing her hair back a little. She looked gorgeous. I smile at her. "What?" she smiles back at me. "You look really beautiful today. Well, you always look beautiful and....that came out of my mouth, didn't it?" I say, blushing. Melanie's POV I blush. I giggle, and nod. I guess, this is where my shyness is going to kick in...I really want to change the subject. "Uh. So...Kevin seemed...nice." I say. "Oh. Yeah, I wouldn't have brought him, but Joe was busy with my parents. And he wouldn't be like that normally. His girlfriend...dumped him last night. He's not really in the best mood." Nick says. "I understand." I say and we lay back. "The ocean looks beautiful." I say, looking out at the waves. "Not as beautiful as you." Nick says. I smile and blush. (twenty minutes later) We talked a little. "You wanna go for ice cream?" Nick asks. "Sure!" I say and we get up. We grab out stuff and go to the car. Kevin was sleeping in the driver's seat. We get in the back and slam our doors. He wakes up. "To Dairy Queen!!" Nick says, pointing ahead. I laugh a little. Kevin rubs his eyes and turns the car on. He drives us to Dairy Queen. We get the ice cream and Nick and I sit at our own table. Kevin's POV I get my ice cream. I lean against the counter, looking at Nick and Melanie. "Ugh. That's so disgusting." I say. I am watching them talking, and laughing. "I think it's sweet." Some girl said behind the counter. I turn around and see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I look at her name tag.
