"G.L.O.W." by The Smashing Pumpkins, released as DLC on 12/4/2008 as part of The Smashing Pumpkins Track Pack, and played by S1ckH4nds on the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero World Tour on Expert Bass in Bass Career mode on 12/4/2008. Final score was 181,777 with a 688 note streak and 100% of notes hit as a full combo for five gold stars. This run was not a sightread; although I FCed it on my sightread, I ended up with 1 and a half bulbs of star power left over. I reworked the path a few times and came up with this run. This is their latest single, which was just released to iTunes early last month. IMO it's a fine return to form for Corgan and his cohorts. A good bassline and chart with lots of fret movement. Definitely worth picking up!

Very mellow bassline for a very mellow song. Not too much happening here, nothing really challenging in the slightest. I doubt there's a much better path to be found here either.

"Real World" by All-American Rejects, released as a standalone DLC single on 12/2/2008, and played by S1ckH4nds in the Xbox 360 version of Rock Band 2 on Expert Bass in Local Band Quickplay mode on 12/3/2008. Final score was 156,047 with a 816 note streak and 100% of notes hit as a full combo for five gold stars. Pretty easy track on bass, and FCed it on my first run through of the song. Not technically a sightread, though, as I had watched Jarr3tt88's video of the chart before playing (thanks again Alex for getting them up this week!). Kinda strange song, doesn't really sound like what I'd expect from the All-American Rejects... that organ almost reminds me of the B-52's for some reason. Right now this song is only 99 cents, so if you dig it, might as well pick it up.

okay, so we KNOW we sucked anal. LOL Claudia found the music and we (Claudia Hannah and I) tried to play it one afternoon but clearly we cannot sight-read if our lives depended on it. Then we tried again the following morning, and unfortunately.. it was just as appalling. ... So we gave up.
