The fifth-ranked University of Montana Grizzlies overcame an early deficit to defeat the 23rd-ranked Texas State Bobcats 31-13 in a first-round Football Championship Subdivision game Saturday afternoon in front of 19,489 fans in UMs Washington-Grizzly Stadium. It was a tale of two halves, as the Grizzlies outscored the Bobcats 24-3 in the second half after being down 10-0 in the first quarter and trailing 10-7 at halftime. The Grizzlies (12-1) were able to take control in large part to the play of sophomore running back Chase Reynolds, who had career-highs of 38 carries for 233 yards, and scored two touchdowns.

Frosty The Snowman "Frosty the Snowman" is a popular song written by Walter "Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson, and first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950. It was written after the success of Autry's recording of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" the previous year; Rollins and Nelson shipped the new song to Autry, who recorded "Frosty" in search of another seasonal hit. Like "Rudolph", "Frosty" was subsequently adapted to other media including a popular television special. The song was originally titled "Frosty the Snow Man". The song is about a snowman who came to life thanks to a magical hat some children found; he then had playful adventures before he "hurried on his way".
