This one is in pretty bad shape. About 10 or so years ago I ran into an ex-COHS student of Mr. Baird's from a class years after my own. She mentioned she had a copy of some "Pippin" footage on tape even though she wasn't a student at the time we put the show on. She asked me if I'd like it. I said yes as I didn't have any video footage at all from that era. Was very grateful for the tape despite its condition. Even at the time it was falling apart - bad tracking, warbled sound, the colors were a mess, all on top of footage that probably (even at its very best) had lighting problems from day one. Imagine an EP copy of an EP copy of a VHS tape stored on top of a magnet and now let it sit there for 20 years - really bad. When I took a look at the tape yesterday it was far worse than I had expected - everything having turned dark green and yellow (on top of all the problems mentioned above). Figured I'd better dupe it to something digital while I still could. Not sure...
