The snow gods are still holding out on us but that doesn't mean there is nothing to do in Tahoe. Heavenly Mountain Resort was able to open over the holiday weekend thanks to favorable temps and their expansive snowmaking system. Over one the North Shore, Squaw Valley USA was open for Mountain Top Dining and ice skating via the scenic Cable Car as well as snow tubing at the Papoose Center.
