As a surviving distant relative of Sgt. Mark E. "Sarge" Jennings, it was with distress I learned of his not-so recent passing. To the family, I send my most heartfelt condolences for this loss of a man who's laughter was shared by all.
I'm not sure what impact this video will have in this networked world, but I have further regret in not releasing it sooner with instructions to state that should Sgt. Jennings or Ms. Lizzie Lou Chaplain pass away, I was to immediately post this to the Internet.
After learning of Mark's passing, I went on a search for Ms. Chaplain and still have yet to receive confirmation one way or another as to her whereabouts.
However, I did have a chance to meet Ms. Chaplain and subsequently enjoy a few of her musical performances with some of the local musicians within Illinois.
Therefore, I am following the set of instructions Mark left for me because he was such a wonderful friend to have around as a child. I did not have the most pleasant of...

"You Raise Me Up" is a popular song in the inspirational mould. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland; the lyrics by Brendan Graham. The song has now been covered more than 125 times.
The song was originally written as an instrumental piece and entitled "Silent Story". Løvland approached Irish novelist and songwriter Brendan Graham to write the lyrics to his melody after reading Graham's novels[2]. It was originally released on the 2002 Secret Garden album "Once in a Red Moon", with the vocals sung by Irish singer Brian Kennedy, and sold well in both Ireland and Norway. The song was used for commemorations of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks despite not having been released in America yet. Originally, Brian Kennedy was supposed to follow Secret Garden on their Asian tour in 2002, but fell ill, and could not attend. He was replaced by...

In 1997, the Foo's and Gil Norton (Doolittle) created one of the best Alt rock of the 90s in "The Colour And The Shape". In 2007, the lads met Gil again to record another album, Echoes Silence, Patience & Grace. This Album is some truely fine Alt rock. Songs like "Let It Die" show us how the loud/quiet/loud dynamic should be done. While "The Pretender" gives the listener some truely great hard rock. But one thing I will definatly commend this album for is it's use of pianos. Tracks like "Home" are just beautiful. All In all this is a terrific Foos album. Thanks Gil for another great album.

Sometimes during my jam sessions late at night, I come up with catchy little riffs and tunes, and I say to myself "I'll definitely remember that tomorrow, that's wayy too catchy to forget".
And so I wake up, and it is gone with the way of integrity in politics.
So I decided to record my late night jam session and upload it, so I could remember some of the riffs!!
